So You Want To Be An Internet Security EXPERT
HINT: You Really Don't Need To Know Anything About Internet Security!
That is really the truth of the matter these days. You see, with Internet threats becoming as complicated as they are, you would really need to focus 100% on Internet Security as your primary field of study, and as your primary career (and really not "primary" but rather "only").
But here's the deal. While I HAVE BEEN an actual Internet Security Consultant in part of my career, I am not actively consulting now, and haven't for a couple of years now. But when I tell people I am an Internet Safety Advocate (notice, I don't ever say "security" in that title), people assume I know something about security and will often ask me a question about a problem they have had, or some Internet related question.
It never occurs to them to ask me how long I have been doing it, or how much I actually know about Internet Security, they just assume that because I am in the Industry then I am versed in it.
So in some cases, I answer their question, because it's an easy one, or because it's one I love to talk about. But more often than not, I explain that I have a team of experts at my disposal because I am associated with INVISUS Direct. This is my answer especially if their question is about a problem on their PC, because then I follow up immediately with the statement that Internet problems are often too sophisticated for one person to keep up to speed on, so that's the main reason I rely on my security team.
And then I tell them that they are CHEAP, too! Instead of paying $120/hr like I used to charge (ok 1/2 price for friends) for help with Internet security problems, INVISUS charges only $15/mo for their service, and all the support is included for that price.
That leads directly into an invitation to look at the service, run the free test on their PC to see what problems currently exist, and then subscribe.
So I am going to invite you to do the same right now. Have a look at the service. Run the test on your PC, and then subscribe.
Go ahead. I think you will see the value quickly, and at least subscribe to the service. There are lots of details there about the business as well. This is a booming industry that is still at the beginning of its growth. There isn't a better time than now to get involved!
See you online!
